How long does perimenopause last

How long does this last? For most women perimenopause runs about four years (some get two, some get eight or more), and it usually starts in the mid-40s. Menopause itself is a single day (twelve months after your last period), and symptoms often settle after that.

That is still a long stretch to simply endure, which is why most women do not have to. There are treatments that reduce symptoms a great deal, and the earlier you track, the faster a doctor can act on what is actually happening.

You are not waiting this out. You are getting through it, with help.
